Tried to order over the phone off the online menu but the combination plates were not updated and said she did not have time to go over them with me. Very frustrated by this response and may not go back due to the way I was treated over the phone.

Ordered bbq pork chow mein and general tso's chicken. I enjoyed the complimentary hot tea but didn't really enjoy the meal. The spring roll appetizer was full of grease that I split it in two and was dabbing it against the saucer plate and pooled the saucer plate with over a teaspoon of oil.The bbq pork lo mein was bland and the bits of red bbq pork was crunchy or rubbery. The round limp noodles were overly cooked. The general tso's was just okay for me and didn't seem to be whole pieces of chicken, almost ligament pieces rather than full breast chunks. Our hostess was extremely nice and courteous and always kept up with our needs. Unfortunately, this just wasn't anything to write home about.

I'm from the SF Bay Area, FUCK all this Chinese/American bullshit. This is the most disgraceful thing I've ever seen exist in more than one place at once. This is bad, and it's everywhere. If you like the Chinese/American thing then this is probably what you're looking for, and since that seems to be what Oregonians want from CHINESE food I'm awarding a second star so that my good taste doesn't deter any patrons based on the overall rating of the business. Pero, para mi no es bueno!!! For those of you silly people who studied French instead of Spanish in high school, that means 'For me, it's no good.'

This prace sucks, they don't want your money. Just keep driving and eat in Salem.unless you enjoy food poisoning and piss-poor service.

We've been going to this place since they were over by Washington Square Mall (20 years). Apparently they had to move to this, somewhat older location, due to losing the lease on their previous location. The dining room does look fairly nice.I always judge a Chinese restaurant by how their Kung Pao Chicken is. This place serves it the 'correct' way. Just chicken, peanuts, sauce and green onion. It is not 50% misc vegetables. Their other food is good and their service is always friendly. They are listed in the Entertainment book so use it if you have one. Sometimes it can look busy from the outside but empty inside. That's because the bar is very popular and you can always eat in there if you want to so some people do. That suits me fine, I like a quieter dining room. If you are near the Bridgeport Mall area (Tigard/Tualatin), and you want Chinese food, try this place.

I love this place, we followed them from the old Washington Square Too location. The owners are nice and always on hand. Their food is good ole Chinese-American and is super fast, and plentiful. All servers are pleasant and quick. Free wifi. They never seem to be too busy on the restaurant side, #icanalwaysgetaseat, but the lot is always full, so the bar must be hopping.Order the Hot and Sour soup, it's chalked full of tofu, wood ear mushroom, and other yummy things.

Working nights it's sometimes difficult to find a place that serves good food when you get off after 11pm. Royal Panda is open late and has a great evening happy hour menu in the bar.P.S. - the Kung Pao is AMAZING!!!

Best food in town. Great waitstaff, and friendly owners. Try the Kung Pow, every Chinese restaurant i try doesn't even come close. They don't fill my plate with celery, peanuts and water chestnuts. Its a full plate of high quality chicken and some peanuts in a nice rich sauce. I love this place. Been going for years.

I would have rated Royal Panda much higher, except they use MSG in some of their dishes and they don't advertise it. They're close to my office so I have lunch there from time to time. The food is very good and the service is fast and ..?
